The City of Waukee is a dynamic and growing community that has transformed from a small rural town to an active suburb of the Greater Des Moines Metropolitan Area. Waukee upholds a small town atmosphere focused around families and friends with convenient access to local and regional amenities.

Throughout the year, the Triangle, Waukee's downtown business district, plays host to the Farmer's Market, 4th of July Parade, Movies in the Park, in addition to other festivities. In August, celebrate everything Waukee at Waukee Fest. Attendants come early for the parade and stay late for the live band and beverage garden.
