Agent Success Facilitator — Ankeny

 

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices First Realty is seeking an Agent Success Facilitator for our Ankeny Sales Office! The Agent Success Facilitator will work closely with agents, brokers, and managers. This role contains aspects of marketing, transactional support, and office administration. The ideal candidate will be personable and engaging with guests and visitors to the office and over the phone.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong customer service by answering phones and geeting visitors in a friendly and inviting manner
  • Receive, process and prepare paperwork related to real estate sales on behalf of agents and brokers
  • Create Brochures, flyers/postcards, marketing materials and promotional pieces
  • Maintain all company listings in the MLS system for completeness and accuracy
  • Manage the weekly tour lists and open house communication
  • Provide passive marketing support for agents through the ReSource Center
  • Distribute mail to agents, brokers, office staff and management
  • Order office supplies as needed

Performance Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Administrative, Clerical, or Customer Service Experience - Real Estate experience preferred
  • Bachelor degree preferred but not required

Title Researcher

 

Iowa Title Company is seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our team as a Title Researcher at our West Des Moines office! The ideal candidate will have experience in the real estate or legal professions.  The Title Researcher provides research and administrative support as needed for the department and office including any of the following:

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research real estate records, title problems and legal descriptions
  • Transcribe information for processing, examining and closing personnel
  • Obtain and provide all required information while maintaining exceptional customer service to all customers and other departments
  • Generate and track title searches and any applicable reports
  • Acquire, prepare and maintain files and documents
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned

 

Performance Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Two Year Accounting Degree
  • Basic accounting experience
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Accounting systems knowledge
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Real Estate background is a plus

Chief Financial Officer (CF0)

 

The CFO will work as a partner with the CEO of the regional operating company to develop and execute business plans to support the overall strategy of HomeServices of America. This position will establish and utilize key operating metrics and financial analysis to assess and drive business performance. Implement policies, procedures, and controls to facilitate the timely, accurate and consistent reporting of financial results and assures compliance with financial and legal reporting requirements. The position is located in our West Des Moines corporate office.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and administer business plans and budgets, along with goals and deliverables, to align the business with strategy and create value
  • Lead creation of annual budget, set budget goals, review results vs plan and make adjustments to align with business objectives
  • Consult with and advise all segments of management concerning operation of the business as it relates to the attainment of objectives and the effectiveness of policies, organization structure and procedures
  • Manage operating and capital expenditures to attain EBITDA projections
  • Administer tax policies and procedures
  • Assure protection of the business and its assets through internal controls, policies, procedures, and necessary insurance coverage
  • Appraise and interpret the effect of economic factors and other external factor on the business
  • Perform administrative activities necessary for effective management, including employee safety, selection and development, salary and budget administration, employee counseling and motivation, communicating organizational goals and objectives, and planning, integrating, measuring and reporting work performance

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • MBA/Bachelors degree in business, finance or accounting
  • Ten plus years experience in a financial/accounting position with increasing responsibility
  • Experience in financial services, mortgage or real estate a plus
  • Proven competency in corporate finance/accounting to include budgeting, reporting, business planning, compliance, and general business management
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and team building skills
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Project management skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently

Accounting Technician

 

HomeServices of Iowa is seeking an analytical individual to join the Accounting team as an Accounting Technician in our West Des Moines corporate office! The Accounting Technician provides essential support to the company by performing a wide range of accounting duties.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable processing and filing
  • Process offers and changes
  • Process commission, agent charges, and post close maintenance information
  • Complete review of all scanned documents
  • Provide backup for the front desk as needed
  • Perform other general accounting duties as assigned

  • Minimum Two Year Accounting Degree

Escrow Closer – West Des Moines

 

Midland Title & Escrow is seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our team as an Escrow Closer in our West Des Moines corporate office! The Escrow Closer facilitates real estate closings, ensuring all documents and balances required to complete a sales and mortgage transaction are properly prepared and executed, assuring closing deadlines are met with good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Providing a high level of service within the closing experience is key to leaving a positive lasting impression on the customer.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare seller and buyer documents
  • Work with lenders and customers to clear various title issues such as liens, lawsuits and judgments
  • Obtain payoffs for seller’s existing loans
  • Sign documents with seller and/or borrower
  • Obtain payoffs for seller's existing loans
  • Complete post-closing work
  • Process real estate commission to listing company
  • Prepare title commitments and title certificates
  • Interact with sellers, buyers, realtors and lenders throughout the closing process

Performance Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Law Degree highly desired
  • Previous brokerage closing, mortgage closing and/or legal backroung
  • Ability to wrok in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Work well with others and effectively manage stressful situations
  • Excellent customer service focus
